    Description:     Duties include: sorting, scanning, and filing correspondence and documents; Drafting and processing outgoing correspondence; maintaining up-to-date contact lists;answering the telephone and relaying calls or taking messages; coordinate calendars for all unit staff; assist staff members in their preparation for upcoming meetings, including conference registration, hotel and airline reservations; order supplies; direct constituent calls to appropriate staff member; update unit budget monthly;provide support for a federally-funded grant administered by the department, which includes; managing distribution and contact lists and facilitating regular communications with grantees; help planning for meetings and planning travel for site visits; electronic and physical filing; process institutional requests for reimbursement; assist BTOP grant administrator as needed and assigned.  
    Qualifications:     Introductory knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment. Introductory knowledge of business English and math. Introductory knowledge of computer information systems and software. Ability to type accurately. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to learn, perform, and accurately complete assigned tasks within established timeframes. Ability to operate office machines and equipment. Ability to learn and use coding and filing systems. Ability to proofread material. Ability to perfom basic business calculations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
